Not many balance bikes could carry off drop bars but with its diamond frame the Road Runner 14 does brilliantly. I just don't know why we didn't think of this before. We all know the sense of control and stability when you're on the drops - the lower center of gravity is a great confidence boost. The inclined position helps the rider too, allowing them to more freely push off and drive the balance bike.
With its spec of low resistance cartridge bearings and integrated headset, this is surely the first step to a racing career...
N.B. Due to safety regulations changing, we accredit our bikes every year, we are no longer able to supply dust caps as standard for bikes that are labelled as age appropriate for children of under 3 years of age. Unfortunately, this now applies to the pill-top safety caps we used to fit.
